About

Who We Are: Tim & Laura

Our journey as physical therapists began together at the College of St. Scholastica, where we both earned bachelors degrees in Health Sciences and then  our Doctorates in Physical Therapy in 2011. Since then, our careers have been defined by a shared commitment to providing personalized, high-quality care.

In the early years of our marriage, we worked as traveling physical therapists in Colorado, Hawaii, and California. This unique experience allowed us to work in a wide array of settings—from fast-paced outpatient clinics and sports performance centers to hospitals, home health, and long-term care facilities. We’ve treated nearly every type of patient, from athletes and weekend warriors to seniors recovering from surgery and children reaching their first milestones.

After years of travel, we chose to return to the East Metro to settle down, have children, and be close to our family and friends. We love this community, and we started Solid Health because we believe our neighbors deserve an alternative to the often-rushed traditional healthcare experience. We wanted to create a practice where we have the time to truly listen and provide one-on-one care you deserve.

Dr. Tim Hafemeyer (PT, DPT, SCS, COMT, ITPT):

Tim is a Board-Certified Sports Specialist Physcial Therapist.  He specializes and has certifications in orthopedic manual therapy, sports specialties, concussion, and vestibular rehabilitation. His passion is helping patients not just return to their pre-injury state, but to exceed it—whether that means returning to competitive sports or simply enjoying an active lifestyle without pain.

Dr. Laura Hafemeyer (PT, DPT):

Laura brings a diverse and compassionate approach to therapy, with extensive experience across the lifespan. Having worked in hospitals and long-term care settings, she is highly skilled in adult rehabilitation, orthopedics, and post-operative care. She also spent nearly a decade specializing in pediatrics, with a focus on developmental delays, torticollis, and pediatric bowel and bladder health. This broad background allows her to provide expert care for every member of the family, from infants to seniors.

Life Outside the Clinic:

When we aren't helping our patients and clients  reach their goals, we’re usually outside with our 3 kiddos taking advantage of everything Minnesota has to offer. You’ll find us running, gardening, biking, skiing/snowboarding, camping, or heading to the family cabin. We are also involved in our church and children's school. We have felt so much love and support from our local comminty with everything we have faced and we hope and pray that Solid Health will serve all our neighbors well here in the East Metro.
